Yes, of course. The upgrade process even includes a dedicated specialist to get you up to speed on 2.0 and help switch your account over. The Wagepoint Academy and beginner’s guide are additional resources you can access anytime.

Wagepoint 2.0 comes with the same friendly and helpful support you’ve come to expect from us. You can connect with our team anytime at support@wagepoint.com or 1-877-757-2272. The Wagepoint 2.0 Knowledge Base is another resource that you can go to when you need help.

This handy guide breaks down exactly what data imports into 2.0 — and the info you’ll need to input during your move.

Yes, you’ll need to re-invite your employees and contractors to the online portal. It’s a quick and easy process that you can complete by following these instructions.

No, you don’t have to re-verify your business banking information when moving from Wagepoint 1.0 to 2.0.

When you move to 2.0, your year-to-date (YTD) data moves with you. That means when it’s time to create your T4/T4A forms, your 2026 YTD data will be in 2.0 — ready to go.

Yes. We recommended processing ROEs in Wagepoint 1.0 before switching to 2.0. While your year-to-date (YTD) data will transfer for T4 purposes, the per pay period data required for ROEs won’t move over. If ROEs aren’t processed before the switch, you may need to manually edit them later. Your dedicated upgrade specialist will walk you through this in more detail.

No. Wagepoint 1.0 uses per pay run pricing, while 2.0 uses an all-in monthly subscription. Most businesses moving from 1.0 to 2.0 won’t see a change in what they pay. Use the pricing calculator to see exactly what 2.0 will cost your business.
